Illinois State left fielder Ty Wiesemeyer made a spectacular catch in Friday night's game against Wichita State and received some well-deserved recognition as the No. 1 play on SportsCenter's Top Plays and was a Web Gem on Baseball Tonight. Ouch man, that looked painful. But very impressive he held on to the ball and made the play.
It was loud. Sounded like a wrestler hitting another with a metal chair. he's a tough kid - stayed in the game. Right place and right time for the cameraman, who was covering our game for the first time this season.
